Nexus Epigenomics
BUILDING
A HUB FOR DECODING THE EPIGENOME
Problem
Our genes make us who we are, but they only make up 2% of our DNA. The remaining 98% (epigenome) regulates how, when, and where those genes get activated, and disrupted in disease. Our ability to understand (and eventually treat) disease is dependent on the availability of tools and technologies that can work together to give a holistic perspective of the epigenome.
Solution
At NEXUS, we are building a platform of technologies to profile the different layers of the epigenome in a versatile, easy-to-use, plug-and-play fashion. Our different products will enable users to efficiently target specific segments of gene regulation.
Our flagship product targets the deepest layer of the epigenome - DNA methylation. It uses our proprietary MeTLAND technology to capture methylation patterns across the genome in a way that is cheaper, more data-rich and easier to implement compared to existing alternatives.
